Ms. Florencia Chimwemwe Mtingwi is a Fellow in the Office of the President of the General Assembly. She serves as a Foreign Service Officer under the Americas Directorate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi. Through her work, Florencia has been responsible for strengthening Malawi¡¯s participation in multilateral diplomacy, particularly the work of the Â鶹APP. Her previous tasks include working with the Department on National Unity as a Peace Building and Conflict Management Officer under the UNDP Social Cohesion Project in Malawi. She has also worked with the Development fund of Norway as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Intern).
Florencia holds a degree of Bachelor of Arts Humanities from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, and is currently pursuing the master¡¯s degree of public management from the Korean Development Institute (KDI), School of Public Policy and Management. She has authored an article on a review of the Malawi National Youth Policy, published by the Republic of Korea National Youth Policy Institute.
