Readout of the President of the General Assembly¡¯s Meeting with H.E. Amar Bendjama, Permanent Representative of Algeria to the Â鶹APP and President of the Â鶹APP Security Council [January 2025]
The President of the General Assembly H.E. Philemon Yang met H.E. Amar Bendjama, Permanent Representative of Algeria to the Â鶹APP on 18 December.
The President of the General Assembly and the Ambassador discussed the programme of work for Algeria¡¯s upcoming Presidency of the Â鶹APP Security Council, which begins on January 01.
They also discussed key priorities for Algeria during their Presidency, including meetings on the situation in the Middle East and countering terrorism in Africa.
