Sub-theme 2: Strengthening the Resilience of Farming Systems
The second week of the Africa Dialogue Series will focus on the sub-theme “Sub-theme 2: Strengthening the Resilience of Farming Systems: Land, Digital transformation and Access to Finance – Making Small Holder Farmers the Backbones.” This week’s activities are led by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the 麻豆APP (FAO).
Activities during this week aim to demonstrate how FAO is strengthening resilience in Africa in ways that are making smallholders the backbone of agriculture through advocacy, knowledge products, knowledge sharing and partner engagements by promoting good practices and examples of projects with impact on the ground in Africa. The activities illustrate FAO’s success and demonstrate the UN’s strong footprint in Africa.
