SIDS Global Business Network Forum 2026 and Island Investment Forum

Bringing the voice of the private sector
into the Fourth International Conference on SIDS
Registration will open soon. Please check back for updates and additional information.
The SIDS Global Business Network Forum (SIDS-GBN) and the newly established Island Investment Forum under the Small Island Developing States Centre of Excellence will bring together governments, businesses, investors, development partners, civil society, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to advance innovative and inclusive partnerships for sustainable and resilient development in Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
Hosted by the Government of Maldives, the combined Forum will support implementation of the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS) by connecting SIDS priorities, enterprises and investment opportunities with partners and investors. It will combine the partnership and enterprise focus of the SIDS Global Business Network (SIDS-GBN) with the investment orientation of the Island Investment Forum (IIF) which is being launched at the SIDS-GBN Forum, creating a single platform for dialogue, business engagement, project showcasing and practical follow-up.
The IIF will add a dedicated investment track to the SIDS-GBN Forum, focused on project visibility, investor engagement, deal facilitation and follow-up support for investment opportunities emerging from SIDS. By bringing these elements together, the Forum will help move from discussion to implementation, with a focus on partnerships, enterprise development and investment-ready opportunities.
