As the international community gathers in New York for the 2026 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), one theme continues to resonate throughout discussions: achieving the Sustainable Development Goals requires strong and innovative partnerships.

This initiative is part of a broader portfolio of partnerships supported through the UN Bookshop and UN Publications, which connects diverse communities with the work of the UN through books, educational resources, and creative projects.
YAK, Sanrio, and Armando Milani

Other collaborations include Sanrio¡¯s and , featuring designs by Italian artist Armando Milani, and showcase how culture, art and design can help bring UN messages to new audiences around the world.
As the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development highlights both progress and remaining challenges on the road to 2030, these initiatives offer practical examples of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals in action. They bring diverse partners, platforms, and audiences together to support a more sustainable, equitable, and peaceful future.
Reflecting this spirit, South Africa's Minister of Water and Sanitation, Pemmy Majodina, wore the Swarovski Pin during HLPF 2026, demonstrating her commitment to the Goals.
