SOYAL Organization is a youth-led movement in Somalia working across the global youth, peace and security, and women, peace and security agendas as well as climate action, gender-based violence prevention, and mental health. It is built on the belief that solutions must come from those living the realities every day.
Creating pathways, not just platforms
Instead of only creating spaces for discussion, SOYAL invests in practical opportunities ¨C such as skills, leadership development and other initiatives that allow young people to take ownership and implement solutions directly.
Evidence-driven advocacy for real solutions
Through research, storytelling, and community engagement, SOYAL amplifies lived experiences and transforms them into actionable insights. This approach strengthens advocacy efforts and pushes for policies that reflect the realities on the ground.

Enabling youth-led green transitions
SOYAL empowers young people to take active roles in building sustainable and climate-resilient communities through climate action, green skills development, and access to green job opportunities. By supporting youth-led environmental initiatives, promoting innovation, and strengthening practical skills in sustainable practices, SOYAL helps young people respond to environmental challenges while creating pathways for economic empowerment.
