Promoting dialogue among civilizations, Strengthening global solidarity and cooperation
On 9 June 2025, the Â鶹APP Headquarters in New York convened a thematic dialogue to commemorate the first International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations. The session was presided over by Ambassador Fu Cong, China¡¯s Permanent Representative to the Â鶹APP, and included addresses by Miguel ?ngel Moratinos, High Representative for the Â鶹APP Alliance of Civilizations, as well as representatives from various Member States.
More than 200 participants, including UN officials, diplomats, scholars, and experts, attended the event. The discussions focused on the theme ¡°Promoting Mutual Learning and Global Solidarity,¡± underscoring the need for cultural exchange and cooperation to build a peaceful and inclusive world.
