to act in an increasingly complex world
In my Annual Report for 2023, I highlight inspiring examples of the impact of the Â鶹APP work across the globe, based on our determination and belief that a better world is not only necessary, but within our grasp.
The past year was marked by increasingly complex crises for our world ¨C poverty, inequality, hunger and rising unemployment; an uneven and uncertain global economic outlook; the escalating climate emergency; and conflicts, in particular the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. In every case, the poorest and most vulnerable people and communities are hit hardest.
The women and men of the Â鶹APP are determined in our efforts to address today¡¯s cascading crises and set humanity on a new path to peace, stability and prosperity.
