The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People convened the Â鶹APP Roundtable on the Question of Palestine on 4 February 2017 in Managua, Nicaragua. The theme of the roundtable wasl<\/span> “Building Bridges with Palestinian Diaspora in Central America”<\/span><\/i>. The roundtable brrought together prominent Palestinians, including Mayors of Bethlehem and Beit Jala, representatives of the diaspora, including former Prime Minister of Belize Mr. Said Musa, academic experts to raise awareness about the critical situation on the ground and encourage constructive dialogue about practical ways in which the Palestinian diaspora in Central America can advocate for ending the occupation and support humanitarian relief, education, health and development efforts in Palestine. The diaspora representatives adopted<\/span> a <\/span>Managua Declaration<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bajo los auspicios del Comit\u00e9 para el Ejercicio de los Derechos Inalienables del Pueblo Palestino, el 4 de febrero de 2017 se celebrar\u00e1 en Managua, Nicaragua, una Jornada de las Naciones Unidas sobre la cuesti\u00f3n de Palestina. El tema de la jornada ser\u00e1 \u201cTendiendo puentes con la di\u00e1spora Palestina en Am\u00e9rica Central\u201d.<\/p>\n

La jornada reunir\u00e1 a destacados palestinos, representantes de las Naciones Unidas y acad\u00e9micos para sensibilizar al p\u00fablico sobre la cr\u00edtica situaci\u00f3n existente sobre el terreno. Tambi\u00e9n pretende alentar un di\u00e1logo constructivo sobre las formas pr\u00e1cticas en que la di\u00e1spora palestina en Am\u00e9rica Central puede propugnar el fin de la ocupaci\u00f3n y apoyar las actividades de asistencia humanitaria, educaci\u00f3n, salud y desarrollo en Palestina.<\/p>\n
