On <\/span><\/span>Wednesday<\/span>,<\/span> 30 August 202<\/span>3<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People <\/span>convened<\/span> in Conference Room 4 at UNHQ in New York to consider and adopt its 2023 Annual Report. The Committee also considered accreditation requests<\/span> from non-governmental organizations<\/span>.\u00a0 <\/span>Out<\/span> of the 8 who had applied, the Committee approved the accreditation of the Palestine Land Society as per the Bureau\u2019s recommendation. <\/span>During the<\/span> meeting, Professor Michael Lynk briefed on the findings of the Study commissioned by the Committee and prepared independently by the Irish Human Rights Centre of the National University of Ireland on the Legality of the Israeli Occupation.
