The organization states that roughly 1,000 square kilometers of the designated exploration zones fall inside the Palestinian exclusive economic zone, making the move an unlawful exploitation of resources belonging to the Palestinian people and a violation of their right to self<\/span>\u2011<span data-contrast=\"auto\">determination.
