OCHA say that six months since the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, the humanitarian scale-up led by the UN and its partners remains constrained, leaving people in dire conditions.<\/p>\n
OCHA warns that people across the Strip are still exposed to lethal force and the risk of casualties, destruction of property and further displacement continue to deepen humanitarian needs.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, OCHA documented the killing of a Palestinian man during a settler attack in the northern West Bank, saying that since the beginning of 2026, more than 580 settler attacks have resulted in casualties or property damage in over 190 Palestinian communities.<\/p>\n
These and other attacks affecting civilians must be investigated, and civilians must be protected. Israel, as the occupying power, must protect Palestinians. Perpetrators of violence must be held accountable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
