Eightieth session<\/strong><\/p>\n Agenda item 35<\/p>\n Question of Palestine<\/strong><\/p>\n I have the honour to inform you that I have received a letter dated 2 February 2026 from the Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the Â鶹APP, Andr\u00e9s Montalvo Sosa (see annex), conveying the decision of the Government of Ecuador to withdraw from the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, with immediate effect.<\/p>\n On 13 February 2026, I wrote to the members of the Committee to bring the letter to their attention.
