It further\u00a0called\u00a0for\u00a0comprehensive diplomatic and economic sanctions on Israel, a full two-way arms embargo, and a ban on trade in goods and services that sustain the\u00a0illegal\u00a0occupation,\u00a0and to fully implement the recommendations of the International Court of Justice\u00a02024\u00a0Palestine\u00a0Advisory Opinion and\u00a02025\u00a0UNRWA\u00a0Advisory Opinion, among other recommendations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"16\" data-list-defn-props=\"{&quot;335552541&quot;:1,&quot;335559685&quot;:720,&quot;335559991&quot;:360,&quot;469769226&quot;:&quot;Symbol&quot;,&quot;469769242&quot;:[8226],&quot;469777803&quot;:&quot;left&quot;,&quot;469777804&quot;:&quot;\uf0b7&quot;,&quot;469777815&quot;:&quot;hybridMultilevel&quot;}\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">On 29 December,\u00a0<\/span><em><a href=\"https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/en\/advancement-of-1033-hu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peace Now<\/a><\/em><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0warned that\u00a0Israel\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Higher Planning Council of the Civil Administration\u00a0was\u00a0set to discuss plans for 1,033 housing units across the\u00a0occupied\u00a0West Bank.\u00a0The discussion concerns the advancement of 126 housing units (Plan No. 108\/2) in the evacuated settlement of Sa-Nur,\u00a0whose\u00a0re-establishment\u00a0had been\u00a0approved by the Israeli Security Cabinet in May 2025.\u00a0Peace Now stated that\u00a0in recent weeks,\u00a0there was\u00a0a change where the Higher Planning Council meets every week and approves several hundred housing units in each meeting. In addition, oftentimes soldiers, Border Police officers, and settlement security personnel were present during incidents in which settlers physically prevented Palestinians from harvesting. The storm\u00a0had\u00a0unfolded as Gaza\u2019s infrastructure and essential services\u00a0were\u00a0already nearly\u00a0completely destroyed\u00a0by the war.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Al\u00a0Mezan\u00a0called\u00a0on the international community to take immediate action to ensure the protection of Palestinians in Gaza, including pressuring Israel to immediately open all the crossings and allow the entry of all equipment and materials required to address the impact of\u00a0the storm.<\/span><span NGOs<\/a><\/em><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0warned that\u00a0Israel\u2019s recent registration measures will impede critical humanitarian action\u00a0at a time when civilians face acute and widespread humanitarian need, despite the ceasefire in Gaza.\u00a0It stressed that\u00a0INGOs are integral to the humanitarian response, working in partnership with the Â鶹APP and Palestinian civil society organizations to deliver lifesaving assistance at scale.\u00a0The group of INGOs called\u00a0call on the Government of Israel to immediately halt deregistration proceedings and lift measures obstructing humanitarian assistance.\u00a0They\u00a0urge donor governments to use all available leverage to secure the suspension and reversal of these actions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li as the humanitarian and health systems continue to collapse under the weight of war and protracted displacement.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The NGO called for immediate action to ensure continued humanitarian access, stressing that lifesaving medical assistance must not be obstructed by administrative or political barriers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li carrying munition components bound for Israel \u2013 from docking at their ports, given the clear risk that its cargo would contribute to the\u00a0\u201congoing genocide\u201d\u00a0in the occupied Gaza Strip, as well as to war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians said.\u00a0According to the NGO,\u00a0States that facilitate the transfer of arms to Israel are acting in contravention of their obligations under Common Article 1 of the Geneva Conventions and Article 6 of the Arms Trade Treaty and must act to prevent all such transfers with urgency.<\/span><span
