{"id":310116,"date":"2025-08-08T11:00:32","date_gmt":"2025-08-08T15:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/?post_type=document&#038;p=310116"},"modified":"2025-08-12T11:42:43","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T15:42:43","slug":"riyad-mansour-state-of-palestine-on-the-situation-in-gaza-security-council-media-stakeout-ar-en","status":"publish","type":"document","link":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/document\/riyad-mansour-state-of-palestine-on-the-situation-in-gaza-security-council-media-stakeout-ar-en\/","title":{"rendered":"Riyad Mansour (State of Palestine) on the situation in Gaza &#8211; Security Council Media Stakeout (AR\/EN)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>08 August 2025<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remarks by Riyad Mansour, Permanent Observer of Palestine to the Â鶹APP, at the Security Council Media Stakeout<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the Israeli Government\u2019s plan for a complete military takeover of Gaza, Palestinian Ambassador Riyad Mansour said, \u201cthis escalation by the Israeli government is going in total contradiction to the will of the international community, international law and common sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Mansour today (08 Aug) spoke to reporters in New York.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cit is the duty of the international community to act,\u201d adding that the presidency of Abbas is \u201ccontacting all leaders in all corners of the globe for everyone to act responsibly to avoid additional catastrophes against our people in the Gaza Strip.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEnough is enough,\u201d Ambassador Mansour reiterated, \u201cwe don&#8217;t need more wars, more killing, more agonies, more occupation, more genocide.
