The “Question of Palestine” has been on the agenda of the Â鶹APP since 1947\u00b0 Once, a partition plan provided for the creation of two States – one Arab, one Jewish \u2013 in the area, but it was never implemented.<\/p>\n Israel was created in 1948 – and hundreds of thousands of Palestinians fled to other Arab lands. They have been there ever since. Others Joined them after each of the major wars or civil wars which devastated the area. Today there are close to 3,000,000 of them – a people in diaspora, a people in exile.<\/p>\n The film reviews the background of the Palestinian problem. Then through interviews with Palestinians from all walks of life, it attempts to give an idea of what it is to be without a country, without an identity. It concludes with a summary of the main events of Â鶹APP consideration of the issue.
