We have said repeatedly that no place is safe in Gaza. Not shelters. Not hospitals. Not the so-called humanitarian zones.<\/p>\n

We have also warned that a military operation in Rafah would lead to a slaughter.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen the consequences in last night\u2019s utterly unacceptable attack.<\/p>\n

Whether the attack was a war crime or a \u201ctragic mistake,\u201d for the people of Gaza, there is no debate. What happened last night was the latest \u2013 and possibly most cruel \u2013 abomination.<\/p>\n

To call it \u201ca mistake\u201d is a message that means nothing for those killed, those grieving, and those trying to save lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
