All events related to the question of Palestine are available <a href=\"http:\/\/registration.fsm2015.org\/wsf2015\">here.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The European Coordination of Committees and Associations for Palestine (ECCP) will be organizing a series of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.eccpalestine.org\/eccp-at-the-world-social-forum-in-tunis-march-2015\/\">events<\/a>\u00a0related to Palestine at the World Social Forum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>EUROPE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.caabu.org\/\">Caabu<\/a>\u00a0(UK) is inviting its supporters to lobby their Member of Parliament to sign\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.parliament.uk\/edm\/2014-15\/827\">the motion 827<\/a> about the humanitarian situation in Gaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gazatoydrive.org\/home.html\">Gaza Toy Drive<\/a>\u00a0has launched a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fundrazr.com\/campaigns\/ewK15?psid=59177fba30004502bfa29387d2701a3b\">fundraising campaign<\/a> to collect toys for children in Gaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.map-uk.org\/\">Medical Aid for Palestine<\/a>\u2018s surgical missions in Gaza have been praised by UK Secretary of State.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.map-uk.org\/news\/archive\/post\/233-uk-secretary-of-state-praises-vital-work-of-map-surgical-missions-\">Here<\/a> is her statement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/\">Palestine Solidarity Campaign<\/a>\u00a0(UK) is inviting its supporters to join them at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/empower-palestine-sign-today-pscs-action-summit-2\/\">Tipping Point- Action Summit<\/a>\u00a0on 14 March. A series of workshops on how to build a powerful BDS campaigns, how to challenge media bias and achieve policy change are scheduled. PSC also calls its supporters to ask their MP to sign the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.parliament.uk\/edm\/2014-15\/838\">motion 838<\/a> entitled Natural Resources of Palestine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinagrupperna.se\/grupper\/stockholm\">Palestingruppen i Stockholm<\/a>\u00a0and the Palestinian Youth Movement are planning\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/us3.campaign-archive1.com\/?u=dc648ccc6e3597da808b16ad8&amp;id=5b7ae0b3dc&amp;e=d3e232fb16\">a conversation<\/a>\u00a0on 7 March about the situation of Palestinian prisoners with Palestinian writer and activist Khaled Barakat and activist Charlotte Kates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>ISRAEL AND PALESTINE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pchrgaza.org\/portal\/en\/\">The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights<\/a>\u00a0(PCHR) issued\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pchrgaza.org\/portal\/en\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=10893:on-international-womens-day-womens-suffering-is-doubled-and-unprecedented-due-to-consequences-of-the-israeli-offensive-on-the-gaza-strip&amp;catid=145:in-focus\">a press release<\/a>\u00a0on 8 March about the women situation in Palestine on international women\u2019s day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>INTERNATIONAL<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 26 February, 30 international aid agencies issued a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.savethechildren.net\/article\/30-international-aid-agencies-we-must-not-fail-gaza\">statement<\/a>\u00a0expressing alarm at the slow pace of rebuilding in Gaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>NORTH AMERICA<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adalah.org\/\">Adalah<\/a>\u00a0is organizing on 10 March in New York\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/adalahny.org\/event\/1267\/join-adalah-ny-protest-friends-israel-defense-forces\">a protest<\/a> against the meeting of the Friends of the Israel Defence Forces (FIDF).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/afsc.org\/\">The American Friends Service Committee<\/a>\u00a0is organizing a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/afsc.org\/story\/palestine-youth-organizers-national-speaking-tour\">national speaking tour<\/a> of 3 young Palestinian activists to discuss about their daily lives as youths and introduce their ongoing project entitled \u201cPalestinian Youth: Together for Change\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cpavancouver.org\/\">Canada Palestine Association<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.voiceofpalestine.ca\/\">interviewed<\/a> with Dr. Sunera Thobani, associate professor at the Centre for Women\u2019s and Gender Studies at the University of British Columbia, on International Women\u2019s Day, BDS activism and the recent BDS referendum campaign on the Berkley Campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/chicopalestineaction.org\/\">Chico Palestine Action Group<\/a> (California) on 1 and 15 March invites its supporters to join them to promote the boycott of SodaStream and HP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmep.org\/\">Churches for Middle East Peace<\/a>\u00a0launch the 2015 Board of Directors\u2019 Study Tour to Palestine and Israel. Registration and information are available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mejditours.com\/open-tour\/cmep-2015\/\">here.<\/a>\u00a0The CMEP also encourages its supporters to sign and send to President Obama\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/action.cmep.org\/p\/dia\/action3\/common\/public\/?action_KEY=19564\">a petition<\/a> to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.endtheoccupation.org\/\">End the Occupation<\/a>\u00a0invited its supporters to sign a the petition to let Northeastern University vote on divestment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>UNITED NATIONS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unicef.org\/\">UNICEF<\/a>\u00a0released a report on IDF treatment of \u201cChildren in Israeli Military Detention\u201d on 27 February. UNICEF recommended that when Palestinian minors are arrested, they should not be blindfolded; they should have their hands bound by three plastic ties in front of their body and be accompanied to interrogations by their parents. The report is available\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unicef.org\/oPt\/Children_in_Israeli_Military_Detention_-_Observations_and_Recommendations_-_Bulletin_No._2_-_February_2015.pdf\">here.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unrwa.org\/ar\">UNRWA<\/a>\u00a0issued\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unrwa.org\/newsroom\/press-releases\/amman-event-celebrates-ongoing-eu-support-palestine-refugees-syria\">a press release<\/a> on European Union support for Palestinian refugees in Syria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unsco.org\/dsc.asp\">The Â鶹APP Resident Coordinator<\/a>\u00a0in the OPT issued\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesco.org\/new\/en\/media-services\/single-view\/news\/statement_by_james_w_rawley_united_nations_resident_coordinator_on_behalf_of_the_un_country_team_on_the_occasion_of_international_womens_day\/\">a statement<\/a> on 8 March on the occasion of the International Women\u2019s Day about the contribution of Palestinian women to the development of their communities and the need to accelerate efforts for the promotion, protection and full realization of their rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unwomen.org\/en\">The Commission on the Status of Women<\/a>\u00a0is co-organizing with the Jordanian Commission for Women on 16 March a side-event on Beijing +20 entitled: \u2018Women and Armed Conflict: A Regional Perspective\u2019.
