The Committee and the Division for Palestinian Rights of the UN Secretariat provide the information \u201cas is\u201d without warranty of any kind, and do not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, or reliability of the information contained in the websites linked in the newsletter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>NGO Action News<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>16 September 2015<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>North America<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 23 September the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/watson.brown.edu\/\">Watson Institute, Brown University<\/a>\u00a0will present the award-winning Palestinian documentary \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wanted18.com\/\">The Wanted 18<\/a>\u201d The documentary tells the story of 18 dairy cows in the town of Beit Sahour, in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, which were declared a threat to the security of the State of Israel after a group of Palestinians begin producing milk for the town\u2019s residents.\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wanted18.com\/\">The Wanted 18<\/a>\u201d shows the power of mass mobilization and nonviolent resistance during the First Intifada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 25-27 September the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/endtheoccupation.org\/\">US Campaign to end Israel Occupation\u00a0<\/a>will be holding its 14th annual conference\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.endtheoccupation.org\/article.php?id=4512\">Advancing a Mass Movement for Palestine<\/a>\u201d in Atlanta. The conference will offer several workshops, photo exhibitions, and film screenings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 7 October, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mecaforpeace.org\/\">Middle East Children\u2019s Alliance<\/a>\u00a0will present award-winning journalist and scholar\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mecaforpeace.org\/events\/berkeley-ca-vijay-prashad-palestine-middle-east\">Vijay Prashad<\/a>, who will discuss his book \u201cLetters to Palestine: Writers Respond to War and Occupation\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>Palestine<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 27 September \u2013 4 October the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.map-uk.org\/\">Medical Aid for Palestinians<\/a>\u00a0(MAP) Charity Challenge team will cycle across the West Bank over 5 days to raise funds for medical aid for Palestinians as part of the challenge\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.map-uk.org\/downloads\/events\/cycle-palestine-2015-small-final.pdf\">Cycle Palestine 2015<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>Â鶹APP<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 7-8 September, the UN\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/unispal.un.org\/unispal.nsf\/home.htm\">Palestinian<\/a>\u00a0Rights Committee, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the League of Arab States, held an International Meeting on the Question of Palestine in Brussels under the theme\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/event\/international-meeting-on-the-question-of-palestine\/\">\u201cIsraeli settlements as an obstacle to peace \u2013 possible ways forward\u201d<\/a>.
