The Committee and the Division for Palestinian Rights of the UN Secretariat provide the information \u201cas is\u201d without warranty of any kind, and do not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, or reliability of the information contained in the websites linked in the newsletter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>NGO Action News<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>27 November 2015<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>Europe<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 23 November,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pchrgaza.org\/portal\/en\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=11380:palestinian-human-rights-organisations-deliver-submission-to-the-international-criminal-court-on-alleged-israeli-war-crimes-and-crimes-against-humanity-during-2014-gaza-offensive&amp;catid=145:in-focus\">four Palestinian human rights organisations delivered<\/a>\u00a0a communication to the ICC Prosecutor, on behalf of themselves and of Palestinian victims of Israel\u2019s \u201cOperation Protective Edge\u201d. In their press release,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alhaq.org\/\">Al-Haq<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mezan.org\/en\/\">Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.addameer.org\/\">Addameer<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pchrgaza.org\/portal\/en\/\">Palestinian Center for Human Rights<\/a> announced that their communication was pursuant to Article 15 of the Rome Statute and contained information on crimes jointly documented during Israel\u2019s 2014 offensive against the Gaza Strip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/\">Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign<\/a>\u00a0(IPSC) and the New Theatre will hold a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/event\/dublin-palestinian-culture-night-food-music-readings-exhibition-and-film-screening-of-when-i-saw-you-ipsc-tnt\">Palestinian Cultural Night<\/a> in Dublin, on 29 November. The Palestinian Cultural Night will present Palestinian food, film, music, poetry and prose, including a film screening of \u2018When I Saw You\u2019 by Annemarie Jacir, plus an exhibition of posters from the IPSC archive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestina-komitee.nl\/agenda\/1165\">Nederlands Palestina Komitee<\/a>\u00a0is informing about\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestina-komitee.nl\/agenda\/1165\">films<\/a>\u00a0on Israel-Palestine shown in the framework the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.idfa.nl\/\">International Documentary Film Festival<\/a> Amsterdam from 18 to November 29.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 28 November, the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.association-belgo-palestinienne.be\/infos\/abp-40-ans-de-solidarites-avec-la-palestine\/\">Association belgo-palestinienne<\/a>\u201d will hold a one-day event: \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.association-belgo-palestinienne.be\/infos\/abp-40-ans-de-solidarites-avec-la-palestine\/\">ABP \u2013 40 ans de solidarit\u00e9 avec la Palestine<\/a>\u201d, in Brussels. Among the speakers will be the new Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Belgium and numerous NGO representatives including Addameer. The situation of Palestinian political prisoners and the psychological consequences of life under the occupation will be discussed. A concert, picture and sculpture exhibition will close the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>Middle East<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pchrgaza.org\/portal\/en\/\">The Palestinian Center for Human Rights<\/a>\u00a0published its\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pchrgaza.org\/portal\/en\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=11391:weekly-report-on-israeli-human-rights-violations-in-the-occupied-palestinian-territory-19-25-november-2015&amp;catid=84:weekly-2009&amp;Itemid=183\">Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory<\/a>\u00a0(19 \u2013 25 November 2015).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"16\" data-lineheight=\"24px\"><strong>North America<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 29 October in Washington D.C., the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejerusalemfund.org\/ht\/d\/sp\/i\/223\/pid\/223\">Palestine Center<\/a>\u00a0of the Jerusalem Fund received\u00a0Dr. Yasser Abu-Jamei, Executive Director of the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme, and Ran Goldstein, Executive Director of Physicians for Human Rights, Israel. They discussed the impact of the blockade as well as the mental and physical health crisis of children in Gaza. Dr. Abu-Jamei and Mr. Goldstein were on a US tour from 13 to 31 October at the invitation of dozens of medical institutions, universities, faith groups, and advocates including\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebuildingalliance.org\/\">Rebuilding Alliance<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gazamentalhealth.org\/\">Gaza Mental Health Foundation<\/a>, the Seattle Physicians for Social Responsibility, Psychologists for Social Responsibility, Harvard School of Public Health, the Palestine Children\u2019s Relief Fund, and Jewish Voice for Peace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejerusalemfund.org\/ht\/d\/sp\/i\/223\/pid\/223\">Palestine Center<\/a>\u00a0of the Jerusalem Fund\u00a0will receive Ayman Odeh, Member of the Israeli Knesset for a conference on \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejerusalemfund.org\/ht\/d\/EventDetails\/i\/56712\/pid\/187\">Palestinian Citizens of Israel Lead Toward Justice, Freedom and Equality\u201d<\/a>\u00a0to take place in Washington D.C. on 2 December. The Secretary-General issued a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/press\/en\/2015\/sgsm17353.doc.htm\">statement<\/a> on the occasion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unispal.un.org\/DPA\/DPR\/unispal.nsf\/udc.htm\">Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People<\/a>\u00a0held a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/press\/en\/2015\/gapal1350.doc.htm\">Special Meeting<\/a>\u00a0at the Â鶹APP headquarters in New York on 23 November. The Deputy Secretary-General made a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/press\/en\/2015\/dsgsm919.doc.htm\">statement<\/a>\u00a0on behalf of the Secretary-General. The civil society organization Defense for Children International \u2013Palestine made a statement on behalf of civil society. Statements, messages and video can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unispal.un.org\/DPA\/DPR\/unispal.nsf\/solidarity.htm\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 23 and 24 November, the General Assembly held a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/press\/en\/2015\/ga11732.doc.htm\">General Debate<\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/press\/en\/2015\/ga11731.doc.htm\">Question of Palestine<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/press\/en\/2015\/ga11732.doc.htm\">adopted four resolutions<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A photo exhibit entitled \u201cPalestinian Children: Overcoming Tragedies with Hope, Dreams, Resilience and Dignity\u201d featuring photographs of Palestinian children in Gaza was inaugurated in the public lobby of the UN on the evening of 23 November.
