The tour examines how Israeli planning policies and barriers redefine the northern perimeter of East Jerusalem and the status of its residents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><b><i><u>North America<\/u><\/i><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>On 21 September, on the <a href=\"http:\/\/internationaldayofpeace.org\/\"><u>International Day of Peace<\/u><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rebuildingalliance.org\/\"><u>Rebuilding Alliance<\/u><\/a>\u00a0is holding a special\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1084301508324672\/\"><u>Senate briefing<\/u><\/a>\u00a0bringing several children, along with their parents or guardians, from West Bank villages at risk of demolition to speak to the US Congress and share their stories and experiences. The children, together with other children in their villages and thousands of children worldwide, have been making \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pinwheelsforpeace\"><u>Pinwheels for Peace<\/u><\/a>,\u201d which they will present at the briefing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><b><i><u>Europe<\/u><\/i><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>On 6 September, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/\"><u>Palestine Solidarity Campaign<\/u><\/a><u>\u00a0(PSC)<\/u>\u00a0is hosting in Brighton an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/eye-witness-report-demolition-destruction-palestinian-communities\/\"><u>event<\/u><\/a>;\u00a0<i>Eye Witness Report \u2013 Demolitions and the Destruction of Palestinian Communities<\/i>. The event will feature briefings by two members of PSC, who recently returned from Palestine.\u00b7\u00a0On 8 September,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/\"><u>Palestine Solidarity Campaign<\/u><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/academicsforpalestine.wordpress.com\/\"><u>Academics for Palestine<\/u><\/a>\u00a0are hosting a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/\"><u>book launch<\/u><\/a>, in Dublin, for Ghada Karmi\u2019s latest book;\u00a0<i>Return: A Palestinian Memoir<\/i>. Ghada Karmi will be in conversation with academic and journalist Harry Browne, and will be taking questions from the audience. Karmi is a Palestinian doctor of medicine, author and academic who writes frequently on Palestinian issues in newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Nation and the Journal of Palestine Studies. She is a fellow and lecturer at the Institute of Arab and Islamic studies at Exeter University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7\u00a0From 21 November to 9 December,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/se-london-psc-iyad-burnat\/\"><u>Palestine Solidarity Campaign<\/u><\/a>\u00a0is hosting a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.leedspsc.org.uk\/filmfestival\/\"><u>Palestine Film Festival<\/u><\/a>\u00a0in Leeds. It will feature the following films by Palestinian directors and\/or about Palestine: The Wanted 18, Epicly Palestine\u2019d, Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers, Speed Sisters and Flying Paper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<p><b><i><u>Â鶹APP<\/u><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>On 3 December, the <u>Â鶹APP<\/u>\u00a0will be celebrating the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/events\/disabilitiesday\/\"><u>International Day of Persons with Disabilities<\/u><\/a>\u00a0at its Headquarters in New York. It will be featuring the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/development\/desa\/disabilities\/unepe.html\"><u>UN Photographic Exhibition<\/u><\/a>\u00a0that aims to help change perceptions to counter stigma and stereotyping about persons with disabilities and promote a better understanding of disability issues.
