The three panellists Nur Arafeh, Tareq Baconi and Nadia Hijab are all contributors to Al Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><b><u>Europe<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" data-fontsize=\"18\" data-lineheight=\"27px\"><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">On 13 September,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/\"><u>\u00a0Palestinian Solidarity Campaign<\/u><\/a>\u00a0is holding a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/no-way-treat-child\/\"><u>talk <\/u><\/a><i>No Way to Treat a Child<\/i> in Worcester, England. The speakers are volunteers with Defence for Children International. They will talk about the training programme Teach Recovery Techniques which helps Palestinian children affected by violence and instability in Hebron.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">From 12 to 14 September <a href=\"https:\/\/wbg.freedomflotilla.org\/\"><u>Women\u2019s Boat to Gaza<\/u><\/a>\u00a0vessels Amal (Hope) and Zaytouna (Olive) will dock in the Port of Barcelona, where various\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wbg.freedomflotilla.org\/news\/barcelona-departure-womens-boat-to-gaza-flotilla\"><u>events<\/u><\/a> including concerts, public talks, workshops, shows and visits to the boats will take place as a farewell for the Freedom Flotilla.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">On 15 September, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/\"><u>Palestine Solidarity Campaign<\/u><\/a>\u00a0is holding a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/contesting-visualization-gaza\/\"><u>talk <\/u><\/a><i>Contesting the Visualization of Gaza<\/i> in Manchester. Anandi Ramamurthy will contrast the visual representation of \u201cOperation Protective Edge\u201d in mainstream media to that by Palestinians and their supporters on social media and at public demonstrations. Anandi Ramamurthy is a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">On 21 September, Newcastle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/\"><u>Palestinian Solidarity Campaign<\/u><\/a>\u00a0is holding a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/talk-qa-israeli-dissident-sahar-vardi\/\"><u>talk and Q&amp;A<\/u><\/a> with Israeli conscientious objector Sahar Vardi in Manchester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">From 7 to 9 October, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lichfield-cathedral.org\/\"><u>Lichfield Cathedral<\/u><\/a>\u00a0will be hosting a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lichfield-cathedral.org\/what-s-on\/holding-palestine-in-the-light\"><u>conference<\/u><\/a>\u00a0on the conflict and occupation in Israel\/Palestine and the prospect of peace in the region.
