MAP has stated that it will use its share of the proceeds toward \u201ca mobile clinic for threatened Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, limb reconstruction surgery for those affected by conflict in Gaza, and specialised burns treatment across the West Bank.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">The London-based Palestine Return Centre (PRC) presented Caroline Lucas, Green Party co-leader and MP, with an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.prc.org.uk\/portal\/index.php\/activities-news\/prc-un-ecosoc-status\/3587-prc-presents-honorary-plaque-to-green-party-co-leader\"><u>honorary plaque<\/u><\/a> on 25 January for her support to PRC\u2019s bid to be recognized as an NGO with special consultative status at the UN.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div align=\"center\"><b><u>North America<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><b><u><\/u><\/b>On 25 January the Columbia University Centre for Palestine Studies announced the launch of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestine.mei.columbia.edu\/cps-news-spring-2017\/2017\/1\/25\/for-immediate-release-yaa-samar-against-a-hard-surface\"><i><u>\u201cAgainst a Hard Surface \u2013 Exploring the Long Term Effects of Life Under Occupation<\/u><\/i><\/a><i><u>\u201d<\/u><\/i>, a poetic and political dance theatre piece created by theatre director Amir Nizar Zuabi and by the Yaa Samaar! Dance Theatre.
