The Committee and the Division for Palestinian Rights of the UN Secretariat provide the information \u201cas is\u201d without warranty of any kind, and do not accept any responsibility or liability for the accuracy, or reliability of the information contained in the websites linked in the newsletter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>NGO ACTION NEWS<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>17 March 2017<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>Middle East<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On 14 March, the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) called on the international community to advocate with the Israeli authorities for the re-opening of the <a href=\"http:\/\/pchrgaza.org\/en\/?p=8906\">Maps and Survey Department<\/a> of the Arab Studies Society in East Jerusalem and the release of its director, Mr. Khalil Toufakji, reportedly arrested by Israel Police during a raid of the office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On 28 February, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.badil.org\/en\/publication\/press-releases\/86-2017\/4738-pr-en-280217-16.html\">BADIL<\/a> \u2013 Resource Centre for Palestinian Residency and Refugee issued a report entitled \u201cCoercive Environments: Israel\u2019s Forcible Transfer of Palestinians in the Occupied Territory\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>Europe<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<ul>\n<li>To mark multiple anniversaries in 2017, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eccpalestine.org\/justice-for-palestine-now-end-european-complicity-a-call-from-organizations-throughout-europe\/\">European Coordination of Committees<\/a> and Associations for Palestine issued a call (\u201cJustice for Palestine now \u2013 end European complicity\u201d), stating that a sustainable peace will only be achieved through enforcement of international law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>North America<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On 13 April, the Jerusalem Fund in Washington, D.C. is hosting the screening of an interactive documentary entitled \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejerusalemfund.org\/events\/upcoming\/jerusalem-interactive-documentary\">Jerusalem<\/a>, We Are Here\u201d.
