Spokesman<\/u>:\u00a0 No, I don\u2019t have any details.\u00a0 What I can tell you is that Mr. Mladenov very much welcomes the agreement to de\u2011escalate tensions in and around Gaza.\u00a0 Ending the launching of incendiary devices and projectiles, restoring electricity will allow the UN to focus on dealing with the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with the COVID\u201119 crisis in Gaza, which we\u2019ve seen over the last few days grow worse.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s very important that all the parties do their utmost to make sure to return to calm.\u00a0 Mr. Mladenov and others have always been involved in trying to mediate and encourage dialogue between the parties with the aim of helping civilians, the civilians in Gaza, who are suffering the way we know, and the civilians on the Israeli side, who have also had to suffer due to these incendiary devices.<\/p>\n
