Israeli helicopter violates Blue Line:<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

PRSG calls for halt to overflights<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Beirut, 29 October 2001 (UN Information Centre)<\/strong> – The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, has noted with concern that an Israeli military helicopter violated the Blue Line on 27 October 2001.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>The PRSG is of the belief that even one such violation may contribute negatively to the already tense situation.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>In this regard, the PRSG reiterates his call upon the Israeli authorities to halt such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.<\/p><\/div>\n
