Israeli military jet violates Blue Line\/PRSG calls for halt to overflights'<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Beirut, 30 October 2001 (UN Information Centre) – <\/strong>The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for Southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, has noted with concern that an Israeli military jet violated the Blue Line on 29 October 2001.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>The PRSG is of the belief that even one such violation may contribute negatively to the already tense situation.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>In this regard, the PRSG reiterates his call upon the Israeli authorities to half such air violations and to fully respect the Blue Line.<\/p><\/div>\n
