Israeli Air violations of the blue Line continue<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

PRSG reiterates call for halt to overflights<\/u><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Beirut, 11 December 2001 (UN Information Centre)<\/strong> – On 10 December, 8 air violations, involving 7 jets and 5 drones, took place across the blue Line and into Lebanese airspace.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Sonic booms were also heard over the capital Beirut.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>These air violation took place after a lull of 7 days during which no overflights and no sonic booms were reported across the Blue Line.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>The Personal Representative of the Secretary-General for southern Lebanon (PRSG), Mr. Staffan de Mistura, calls once again on the Israeli authorities to cease such air violations across the Blue Line.<\/p><\/div>\n
