The Rafah, Karni and Sufa crossings remained closed for the movement of goods and people to and from the Gaza Strip. Erez crossing remained closed for all Palestinians except for those with special coordination arrangements with the Israeli District Civil Liaison. Kerem Shalom remained the only crossing point open for the import of commercial and humanitarian supplies.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">A single-lane conveyor belt\/chute at Karni continued to function on an average of two days per week for the import of wheat grain and animal feed into Gaza. A total of 3,043 calves were allowed into Gaza via Sufa during this reporting period. A total of 752 truckloads, including 117 from humanitarian agencies, were allowed into Gaza between 31 October and 13 November, compared to 739 truckloads in the previous reporting period. An average of 14 traders per day crossed through Erez into Israel during this reporting period.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>Changes of note since Report No. 51 (30 October):<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;margin-left:20px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Rafah <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing has now been closed for the movement of people for 157 days (last open on 9 June).<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;margin-left:20px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Karni <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing has been closed since 12 June for the movement of goods into and out of Gaza. One single-lane conveyor belt\/chute for wheat grain and animal feed was open on four days (31 October; 6, 8 and 12 November) for a total of 31 hours, compared to 30 hours in the previous period. A total of 289 truckloads of grains and animal feed entered Gaza, compared to 219 in the previous reporting period.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;margin-left:20px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Sufa <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing remains closed for the import of goods since 28 October. Exceptionally, a total of 75 truckloads carrying 3,043 calves were allowed into Gaza through Sufa on 8, 11, 12 and 13 November, compared to 264 during the previous reporting period.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;margin-left:20px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Kerem Shalom <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing was open on 9 days for the entry of commercial and humanitarian goods (same as previous reporting period). An equivalent of 388 truckloads, including 117 from humanitarian agencies, crossed into Gaza through Kerem Shalom, compared to 256 truckloads in the previous period.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;margin-left:20px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Erez <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing remains closed since 12 June for all Palestinians, except for a limited number of Palestinian traders, aid workers and medical cases who have been granted special permits. Erez crossing was open 12 out of 14 scheduled days. The crossing has been closed since March 2006 for Palestinian workers.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;margin-left:20px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Obstacles to movement in the West Bank <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">decreased from 561 in the previous reporting period to 559.
