Erez crossing remained closed for all Palestinians with the exception of urgent medical cases and a limited number of Palestinian staff working for international organizations who require special coordination arrangements with the Israeli District Civil Liaison.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Sufa crossing was open for humanitarian and commercial commodities on 5 days (same as in the previous reporting period). Kerem Shalom was open on 1 out of the 10 scheduled days. Overall, a total of 440 truckloads, including 98 from humanitarian agencies, were allowed into Gaza, compared to 621 in the previous&nbsp;&nbsp;reporting period (29% decrease). On 23 January, thousands of Palestinians crossed into Egypt through the border wall after it was breached by armed Palestinian men.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>Changes of note since Report No. 57 (22 January):<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Rafah <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing has been generally closed for the movement of people for 227 days (last open 9 June).<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Karni <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing has been closed since 12 June for the movement of goods into and out of Gaza. One single-lane conveyor belt\/chute for wheat grain and animal feed was open on four days (30 and 31 January and 4 and 5 February) for a total of 27 hours, compared to 20 hours in the previous period. A total of 303 truckloads of grains and animal feed entered Gaza, compared to 217 in the previous reporting period.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Sufa <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing was open on 5 days, during which a total of 126 truckloads, including 87 from humanitarian agencies, were allowed into Gaza.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Kerem Shalom <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing was open on 1 day for the entry of humanitarian goods, compared to 6 days in the previous reporting period during which both humanitarian and commercial goods were allowed in. An equivalent of 11 truckloads, all from humanitarian agencies, crossed into Gaza through Kerem Shalom, compared to 235 truckloads in the previous period.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Erez <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">crossing remains closed since 12 June for all Palestinians, except for a limited number of Palestinian traders, aid workers and medical cases who have been granted special permits. Erez crossing was open 12 out of the 14 scheduled days. The crossing has been closed since March 2006 for Palestinian workers.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:SymbolMT, monospace;\">&#8226; <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\"><strong>Obstacles to movement in the West Bank <\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">increased from 563 in the previous reporting period to 569.
