Following France’s objection to the destruction of cisterns, what, in addition, is<\/strong><\/i> France’s position on the tramway construction project in Jerusalem<\/strong><\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

Our position regarding settlement activity is clear and constant: we condemn it, in East Jerusalem as well as in the West Bank. It’s illegal under international law, constitutes an obstacle to just and lasting peace based on the two-State solution, and undermines the trust necessary for the resumption of negotiations between the parties.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n
