\nSecretary-General Reiterates Call for All Parties to De-escalate Tensions<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Secretary-General condemns the murder of a Palestinian teenager in Jerusalem and calls for the perpetrators of this despicable act to be promptly brought to justice.  He expresses his deepest condolences to the family of the victim.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Secretary-General reiterates his call on all parties to ensure that tensions do not escalate further, leading to more loss of life.<\/p><\/div>\n
