Declaration Accepting the Jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

In conformity with Article 12, paragraph 3, of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, (`the Statute'), the Government of the State of Palestine hereby recognizes the jurisdiction of the Court for the purpose of identifying, prosecuting and judging authors and accomplices of crimes within the jurisdiction of the Court committed in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, since June 13, 2014.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

This declaration is without prejudice to any other declaration the State of Palestine may decide to lodge in the future.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Accordingly, the State of Palestine undertakes to cooperate with the Court without delay or exception, in accordance with Chapter IX of the Statute.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

This declaration shall be valid for an unspecified period of time and shall enter into force upon its signature.<\/p><\/div>\n
