Javier SOLANA, European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), will meet with a delegation of representatives of the Lebanese democratic opposition forces on Wednesday 9 March 2005.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the current political situation in Lebanon and to explore ways in which the EU can further contribute to consolidate Lebanon’s democracy, independence and sovereignty.<\/p><\/div>\n
