Statement by the Press Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan,
\non the Abduction of Israeli students in the West Bank <\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

1. The Government of Japan strongly condemns the abduction of three Israeli students in the West Bank and calls for their immediate release and return to their family in a safe manner. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

2. The Government of Japan expects close cooperation between the Israeli and Palestinian security authorities in order to ensure the prompt release of the abductees. <\/p><\/div>\n
