Upon learning of the death of the three missing Israeli teenagers, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier issued the following statement today (30 June):<\/p><\/div>\n

Only a few hours ago, I discussed the missing teenagers’ fate here in Berlin with my Israeli colleague Avigdor Liberman.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

I am deeply saddened now to hear of their death. Our thoughts are with their families and friends at this difficult time.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

We hope that despite the indescribable pain at the loss of these three young students, the pursuit of peace will be the driving force behind all steps taken over the coming days.<\/p><\/div>\n
