The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, reiterated his support for the decision of the State of Palestine’s to seek a UN Security Council resolution to set a timeline to end to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Land, establish a Palestinian State with East Al-Quds as its capital , and bring about a just settlement for the issue of Palestinian refugees in line with international legality resolutions. He also called on the Council’s Member States to vote in favor of the resolution. <\/p><\/div>\n

The Secretary General indicated that responding positively to the Palestinian demand would contribute to, and support international efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive, just, and durable peace agreement on the Arab-Israeli conflict based on the vision of the two-state-solution in line with the relevant international legality resolutions particularly <\/span>GA resolution no 19\/67<\/a> of 29\/11\/2012.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
