Foreign Minister Steinmeier to meet Prime Minister Hamdallah
\n – The German-Palestinian Steering Committee to convene at the Federal Foreign Office<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

On Wednesday, 19 March, Foreign Minister Steinmeier will meet Rami Hamdallah, Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, at the Federal Foreign Office.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Their talks will focus on current international efforts to resolve the Middle East conflict and Germany’s support for the establishment of state structures in the Palestinian territories.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The talks will kick off the 3rd meeting of the German-Palestinian Steering Committee, which has served as the framework for regular intergovernmental consultations since 2010.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Participants on the Palestinian side will be Prime Minister Hamdallah, Foreign Minister Malki, Interior Minister Abu Ali, Education Minister Abu Zuhri, Planning Affairs Minister Abu Ramdan and Deputy Economic Affairs Minister Amro. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The German Government will be represented by Federal Ministers Wanka and Müller as well as by civil servants from the Interior, Economics and Research Ministries and the Federal Chancellery.<\/p><\/div>\n
