Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Paolo Gentiloni expressed “firm condemnation of the appalling armed attack carried out this morning in a synagogue in Jerusalem”.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

The Italian government “expresses disdain and deep condolences to the families of the victims and solidarity with the wounded”.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

"It is my hope” – the minister concluded – “that all parties engaged in the peace process declare their firm condemnation and distance themselves from this despicable act”.<\/p><\/div>\n
