Letter dated 15 October 2003 from the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Â鶹APP addressed to the President of the General Assembly<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of October 2003, on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States and pursuant to paragraph 4 of General Assembly <\/span>resolution ES-10\/12<\/a> of 19 September 2003, adopted at its resumed tenth emergency special session, I have the honour to request the resumption of the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly in the light of the inability of the Security Council to fulfil its responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security due to the exercise by one of its permanent members of the veto, in order to address the grave issue of Israel’s expansionist wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
