\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>The Security Council<\/u>,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>Deeply indignant<\/u> at the refusal of Israel to comply with the decisions of the Security Council aimed at terminating the bloodshed in Beirut,\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>1.    Strongly condemns<\/u> Israel for not implementing resolutions 516 (1982) and 517 (1982);\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>2.    Demands<\/u> that Israel immediately implement these resolutions fully;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>3.    Decides<\/u> that, in order to carry out the above-mentioned decisions of the Security Council, all the States Members of the Â鶹APP should refrain from supplying Israel with any weapons and from providing it with any military aid until the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from all Lebanese territory.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tThe Security Council on 6 August 1982 voted on the draft resolution as follows:\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tIn favour:<\/strong> China, France, Guyana, Ireland, Japan, Jordan, Panama, Poland, Spain, Uganda, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
\n\t\t\t\tAgainst:<\/strong> United States of America.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
