2002\/103. Situation in the occupied Palestinian territory<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

  At its 41st meeting on 16 April 2002, the Commission on Human Rights decided, by a recorded vote of 41 votes to 2, with 9 abstentions:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>(<\/span>a<\/i><\/span>)   To express its deep dismay that its <\/span>resolution 2002\/1<\/a> of 5 April 2002 had not been implemented due to the absence of a positive response from the occupying Power, even though the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territory had continued to deteriorate;<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>(b<\/i>)   To call for the immediate implementation of its resolution 2002\/1 of 5 April 2002;<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>(c<\/i>)   To urge the Â鶹APP High Commissioner for Human Rights to report urgently to the Commission on the deteriorating human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territory on the basis of reports from all concerned organizations present in the occupied territory.<\/p><\/div>\n
