  In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of May 2004 and on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States, I have the honour to request an immediate meeting of the Security Council to consider the grave and ongoing Israeli violations and breaches of international law, in particular the widespread demolition of Palestinian homes in the Rafah area, and to take the necessary measures in this regard. <\/p><\/div>\n
