LETTER DATED 16 JANUARY 1986 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE<\/p><\/div>\n

OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES TO THE UNITED NATIONS<\/p><\/div>\n

ADDRESSED TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for January 1986, I have the honour, on behalf of the States members of that Group, to call your attention to the grave situation created in Jerusalem by Israeli actions violating the sanctity of the Haram al-Sharif.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Accordingly, I request that an urgent meeting of the Security Council be convened to consider that grave situation.<\/p><\/div>\n
