1996\/274.  Human rights situation in southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>At its 46th plenary meeting, on 23 July 1996, the Economic and Social Council, taking note of <\/span>Commission on Human Rights resolution <\/span>1996\/68<\/a> of 23 April 1996, approved the Commission's request to the Secretary-General:<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

(a)\t<\/span>To bring the resolution to the attention of the Government of Israel and to invite that Government to provide information concerning the extent of its implementation thereof;<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n
