OMAN TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the current month, I have the honour to transmit herewith the text of Deputy Permanent Observer of the Palestine Liberation Organization to the Â鶹APP dated 7 April 1986.<\/p><\/div>\n

OF THE PALESTINE LIBERATION ORGANIZATION TO THE UNITED NATIONS<\/p><\/div>\n

ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I am instructed by Yasser Arafat, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization to bring the following to your attention.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>For the twelfth consecutive day, armed militias have attacked the Sabra and Shatila and Burj al-Barajneh Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut, Lebanon. As you are aware, for the past nine months hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and wounded in such attacks by armed militias.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>I am asked by Yasser Arafat to call on your good offices to use whatever means at your disposal to put an end to these attacks against our Palestinian refugee camps.<\/p><\/div>\n
