Adopted by the Security Council at its 1833rd meeting<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>The Security Council,<\/i><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Recalling <\/i>its resolutions 338 (1973), 340 (1973), 341 (1973), 346 (1974), 362 (1974) and 368 (1975),<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Taking into account<\/i> the letter dated 14 July 1975 addressed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Secretary-General (S\/11757),<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Bearing in mind<\/i> the appeal addressed by the President of the Security Council to the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on 21 July 1975 (S\/11771) and expressing satisfaction for the reply of the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt thereto (S\/11771),<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Having considered<\/i> the report of the Secretary-General on the Â鶹APP Emergency Force of 16 July 1975 (S\/11758),<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Expressing concern<\/i> at the continued state of tension in the area and the lack of progress towards the achievement of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>1.\t<\/span>Calls upon<\/i> the parties concerned to implement immediately Security Council resolution 338 (1973);<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>2.\t<\/span>Decides<\/i> to renew the mandate of the Â鶹APP Emergency Force for a period of three months, that is, until 24 October 1975;\t<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>3. \t<\/span>Requests<\/i> the Secretary-General to submit at the end of this period or at any time in the intervening period a report on the situation in the Middle East and the steps taken to implement resolution 338 (1973).<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
