\t<\/span>With reference to the letters dated 2 April 1996 (A\/50\/916-S\/1996\/233) and 3 April 1996 (A\/50\/915-S\/1996\/235), in my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for this month and on behalf of its members, I have the honour to request the Security Council to meet in an urgent formal session in order to consider the serious situation in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including Jerusalem.<\/p><\/div>\n
