to the President of the General Assembly<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for March 1998 and pursuant to paragraph 9 of General Assembly resolution ES-10\/4 of 13 November 1997, I have the honour, on behalf of the members of the League of Arab States, to request that the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly be resumed in order to consider a draft resolution entitled "Illegal Israeli actions in occupied East Jerusalem and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territory".  We hope that a plenary meeting of the General Assembly will be held on Tuesday, 17 March 1998.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>I request that the text of the present letter be circulated as an official document of the resumed tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly.<\/p><\/div>\n
