the Syrian Arab Republic to the Â鶹APP addressed to the<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

President of the Security Council<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>I refer to my letter dated 13 July 2006, requesting participation and speaking in the meeting of the Security Council on the morning of Friday, 14 July 2006, under the agenda item “The situation in the Middle East”, concerning Lebanon.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I deeply regret that the President of the Security Council did not observe rule 37 of the rules of procedure of the Security Council and denied the right of the Syrian Arab Republic delegation to speak in that meeting as a concerned party, especially as my country was subject to false accusations and direct threat in the context of Israeli aggression of Lebanon.<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>I kindly ask that the content of the present letter be circulated to all members of the Council and be issued as a document of the Security Council.<\/p><\/div>\n
